Saeeda Khatoon Passed Away

Saeeda Baji was a brilliant star of the Silsila Azeemia and eye light of the Murshid-e-Karim. Whenever Hazrat Khawaja Shamsuddin Azeemi used to discuss about her, his voice would full of kind. Morever Hazrat Azeemi has said ''Saeeda is the God gifted pearl for me, she is a candle who is being chosen for spreading of spiritual mission of Holy Prophet peace be upon him and I am bowing my head for the thanks of Allah about this heavenly gift''.

Saeeda Khatoon belongs to a Sayyed family who are the descendents of Imam Hussain, the grandson of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. She was born in Nagpur, India, in 1938. Since birth, she possessed extra ordinary powers. When her mother was in labour at the time of her birth, she said that she saw a bright light and at the same time the room was filled with the scent of musk. So intense was that vision that she did not experience the pains of labour.
A great Sufi Master, Baba Tajuddin of Nagpur blessed Saeeda Khatoon's father. Once, when he was in his late teens, he was walking on the roadside with his friend. At that time, Baba Tajuddin was passing from there in a horse driven carriage. He ordered the driver to stop and came to the young men. He gave a bunch of bananas to Saeeda Baji's father and said, "Eat this and you will have a blessed child."
Since childhood, saeeda Baji had an illuminated vision. She could 'see' both the worlds of matter and spirit. She had a powerful attraction towards God; Her belief on God, angels, heaven and the Divine Realities was based upon observation. At that time she thought that everyone could 'see' like her. When she needed an answer to any question, she concentrated on it for some time. She said that she went into a trance and a screen would appear in front of her eyes and the answer to her question would be displayed on it in the form of a film. She went to a primary school in Nagpur. When she was nine years old, the family emigrated to Pakistan, where she finished High School. Due to the sudden demise of her eldest brother, she decided to work to support the family instead of continuing her education. saeeda Khatoon was married with four children and nine grand
children. She came to Britain with her husband and eldest daughter in1962. They worked very hard to earn a living in this new country. She missed her parents, six sisters and her brother. The loneliness of the new lifestyle brought her enen closer to Allah. She started to have visions. In those visions she was instructed that the Unseen Reality was going to be revealed to her so she should write the contents of her visions and record them in the order in which they are revealed. She was also instructed to send a copy of her visions to her sister in Pakistan. Until that time, saeeda Khatoon did not have a spiritual Master. She only followed the instructions she received through her visions.
In Pakistan, her oldest sister, Apa Zubaida, sent the papers of her visions to Khawaja Shamsuddin Azeemi, Master of the Azeemia Sufi Order. Her papers were accepted by him and published in the May 1979 issue of the monthly Roohani Digest.
In 1980, saeeda Khatoon went to Pakistan and met the Master, Khawaja Shamsuddin Azeemi, who formally initiated her into the Sufi Order.
saeeda Khatoon was the author of twelve books on Sufism including the best selling 'Inner Traveller' (andar ka musafir). She is a frequent requested speaker at Universities and Colleges in Pakistan. She has travelled extensively in Pakistan, USA, Canada, Norway, UAE and India giving lectures on spiritual matters. She has also written a great number of booklets on the subjects. saeeda Khatoon was the Patron of the Azeemia Sufi Order and the Principal of the Academy for Qalandar Consciousness.

Highly glorious prophets and friends of God obeyed this principle, even last Prophet of Allah Holy prophet peace be upon him, who is the cause of all creations, had hidden to our outer eyes.
